    Queer Artists

    Celebrate Pride

    Apart Together

Twenty LGBTQ artists come together in a salon style showing at K Ryan Henisey's artist studio at TAG Gallery in Los Angeles.

    Apart Together

Stay Home orders are in effect throughout LA County. Drawing on inspiration from our time, the show is themed around queered isolation.

    Celebrate Pride

Though we are celebrating LGBTQ pride through our fine art in this show, it is important to note that black lives matter.

    QUEER isolation

QUEER isolation collects works from LGBTQIA artists reflecting on the global challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The salon-style display debuts at TAG Gallery, August 2020.

Queer Art often touches on subjects that question the authority and status quo of the macro (or majority) culture at large. Selected by artist K Ryan Henisey, these LGBTQIA fine art works respond to a variety of emotions: from anguish and boredom to desire and relief. All works are united in their critical reflection of the times—be it of politics, belief, or the desire to reconnect with each other.
