My Youth - a call for Queer Art

About 'My Youth'

K Ryan Henisey and Eugene Huffman invite queer artists to submit work on the theme My Youth. Fine art in all media is sought exploring the artist’s experience as a queer individual and what their youth—current or past—means to them. Accepted works will show at TAG Gallery from November 19 - December 14 along with solo shows from TAG member artists.

K. Ryan Henisey is a current member and TAG Gallery president. His recent solo exhibitions include Pantheon at LAAA’s Gallery 825 (2019) and Mythologies (2018). His next show will appear alongside the works in My Youth.

Eugene Huffman was named as one of HIV Plus Magazine's "Most Amazing HIV-Positive People of 2016." A Graphic Designer, Eugene most recently curated Positivity at Art Share LA and has served as a resident celebrity artist and Art Director for the Art Hearts Fashion Gallery for LA Fashion Week.
