The skies of the western desert are broad, tall and vast. Oftentimes, the cerulean hues extend well above the horizon, dominating even the mountainous clouds that float through the atmosphere. I-15 is watercolor on 140lb cotton paper. The burst of the clouds is caused by the diffusion of white pigment in the still wet turquoise of the sky. This piece is 9×6 inches and was on display at Orange County Creatives Gallery in Winter 2015.
