Illustrations for Slumbering Sea (forthcoming February 2015 to iTunes and Amazon) are currently available and on display at the Newhall Aquarium just north of Los Angeles. This charming learning center is a local non-profit dedicated to educating children about the diverse life of the sea. The aquarium is home to a number of rays, sharks, octopus, jellies, eels, and more. It is open to the public ($2.00 suggested donations) Monday-Friday, 1:30-5:30pm.

American Dream, Lost or Found, Orange County Creatives, Laguna Beach. “Changing Directions” and “The Reds, Whites and Blues” were selected as part of the November Juried show. (A portion of all profits from this exhibit will be donated to a local homeless charity organization that helps those encountering struggles recover and rebuild their lives when the American Dream seems to have passed them by.)

Fresh, the Event and Best of Show
December 6, 6 – 9

On December 6 from 6-9pm we will be hosting Fresh, the Event, South Bay Contemporary’s first fundraiser gala. Tickets to this event are available online at: http://www.southbaycontemporary.com

The Best of Show selected by Mat Gleason will be announced at Fresh, the Event. This will be the last event and exhibition for South Bay Contemporary in Palos Verdes and on that date we will be announcing our future plans. We will also have live music and performance, handmade holiday decor, silent auction, fresh catered food and great company.
